District III: Planning and Development Organization available for business planning. Representatives are available to assist with everything from business plans to assistance with financial aspects of your business. City of Scotland, SD has paid the membership dues for this assistance.

Local SCORE Representative: Local member of SCORE (an organization of retired business people throughout the state) available to assist with, and a great reference for, business and financial planning.

Local Revolving Loan Fund: Low interest loans given by the Scotland, SD Development Corporation.

Scotland, SD Area Historical Society: Grant small amounts for the restoration of historical properties (Main Street properties qualify) and they are a great reference point for many other incentives when placing a business at a historical location. Such items may include, but are not limited to; grants, loans or tax credits.

Golden West: A $5,000 grant is given each year for projects which make or keep a job in Scotland, SD. Contact a Scotland, SD Area Chamber of Commerce member for more information.
